Corrections Policy
How We Handle User Feedback, Investigate Discrepancies, and Update Records
1. Factual Accuracy & Dataset Scope
KalnirnayOnline.com is an independent digital calendar reference site. Dates, festival titles, and public holidays displayed on the site are based on our repository dataset in data/calendar-events-2026.json. This site does not currently calculate daily Panchang values (such as tithi, nakshatra, yoga, or karana). We welcome reports of inaccurate dates or festival title corrections.
2. How to Report an Inaccuracy
If you identify a date mismatch or an incorrect festival title on our website, please email us directly at contact@kalnirnayonline.com. Please include the following details in your email:
- Page URL: The specific webpage containing the item (e.g.,
/aprilor/panchang-2026). - Observed Content: The specific date or festival name currently displayed.
- Suggested Correction: The correct date or title as per your reference.
- Reference Source: The authoritative source or calendar tradition supporting the correction.
3. Correction Review Process
When a correction is submitted, we follow a simple procedure:
- Review: We review the reported date against our repository dataset in
data/calendar-events-2026.json. - Update: If a factual error in the dataset is identified, we update the JSON file and regenerate affected calendar graphics and HTML pages.
- Discrepancy Flagging: If regional traditions observe different dates, the item status is set to
requires_reviewor noted with an explanatory caveat.
4. Physical Calendar & Distribution Inquiries
Please note that KalnirnayOnline.com is an independent digital information platform and does not publish, sell, or distribute physical paper calendars or printed products. Queries regarding printed calendars should be directed to retail booksellers or commercial distributors.
